Sri Lanka Soul Adventure
A seven night journey of yoga, nature, culture, and restoration
20th - 27th February 2026
Join me for an intimate and immersive retreat through the wild beauty of Sri Lanka — from the peaceful jungle to the vibrant southern coast.
For the free spirits and curious seekers looking for a wholesome heart-led experience.
What to Expect
This intimate yoga retreat offers the perfect balance of exploration, experience, rest, and renewal.
Split across two locations, we’ll journey through some of my favourite spots in Sri Lanka together.
Rooted in our yoga practice and the warmth of a small-group vibe, you’ll find space for peace and genuine connection — all while immersing yourself in the rich culture, flavours, and vibrant energy of the island.
-
Ground and energise with daily yoga classes — uplifting in the morning, slow and restorative in the evening.
Yoga is suitable for all abilities, and we’ll generally move between Vinyasa and Yin styles.
Practices may include meditation, mudra, and mantra — moving meditations that connect deeply with the elements. We’ll explore different locations for our practice, from jungle shalas to oceanfront rooftops!
-
Beautiful, sacred ceremonies and practices honouring the elements — inviting connection with nature, with each other, and a return to your true self.
-
One-of-a-kind eco-lodges, followed by a lush beachfront surf house.
A more rustic, authentic experience to begin on the outskirts of Udawalawe National Park— followed by laid-back, oceanfront vibes in Ahangama to unwind and soak it all in.
-
Paddleboarding, floating meditation, safari, wild waterfalls, surfing, a Sri Lankan cooking workshop, and local exploration...
Everything is optional — and plenty of rest and downtime is heavily encouraged!
-
All meals will be fresh, colourful, and delicious! Think fragrant curries, fresh coconut sambol, tropical fruit, and meals made with love.
Sri Lankan food is so good, and we’ll also explore some local restaurants together.
Food is truly at the heart of this retreat — right alongside yoga, of course.
After spending a lot of time in Sri Lanka, I’ve fallen in love with the island. I’m so excited to guide a retreat that blends yoga and ritual with cultural exploration, nature, and the everyday magic of island life.
A Soulful Adventure
Through our yoga and experiences, we will explore our connection with the elements and the goddess energy that is so vibrant on this land.
We’ll begin inland, nestled in nature where everything slows down. For three nights, we’ll stay in a truly unique and magical setting. Expect handbuilt accommodation that’s simple, soulful, and deeply connected to nature. This is not about marble bathrooms or infinity pools — think floating breakfasts on the lake, sunrise paddle boarding, sound journeys under the stars, inspiring yoga in a jungle shala, waterfall adventures, and maybe even a wild elephant wandering past!
Expect daily yoga, delicious fresh Sri Lankan meals, abundant nature, cacao and fire ceremony, and plenty of space to rest, restore, and just be.
We’ll then journey south to the coast for four nights by the ocean. Our oceanfront sanctuary is the perfect place to unwind with more yoga, surfing (if you fancy), massage, explore the yummy Sri Lankan food on offer and beautiful cultural experiences — all with the sound of the Lanka waves as your backdrop.
I’m excited to share my favourite spots and some really special times with you!

Not at all. All sessions are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced. You’ll be supported with options to suit your body and energy each day.
This is an intimate retreat so I can get to know you and support you wherever you are at on your yoga journey.
-
You’ll fly into Colombo (Bandaranaike International Airport). I would suggest arriving at least a day or so early, if possible, to decompress from the flight and settle in. I can help arrange transfers and travel plans on the island before and after retreat.
I know flights are a little expensive at the moment so it helps if you can be flexible and I recommend Sky Scanner to see different route options!

Banyans eco camp offers a chance to live more simply, sustainably, and closer to nature. Accommodation is in beautiful rustic huts and lodges made from natural materials, with proper beds, mosquito nets, and bathrooms for comfort.
The camp is off-grid, which means it runs on solar power and follows eco-friendly practices. You might not find air-conditioning or endless plugs for devices, but you will have everything you truly need — and the gift of switching off from the outside world.
It’s comfortable but simple — think barefoot luxury: falling asleep to the sound of the jungle and waking to the sunrise. The magic lies in the connection to the land, the ocean, and the incredible energy of Sri Lanka.
Feel free to check out Banyans website and make sure you are happy with this style of accommodation.

A full packing list will be provided, but essentials include: light comfortable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, citronella spray for mosquitos, comfortable yoga wear, and a journal is highly recommended. Adapters aren’t necessary in Sri Lanka as they have the same plugs as the UK! -
No problem — just let us know in advance and we’ll accommodate you.
-
Yes Sri Lanka is safe and very welcoming but like anywhere else you have to travel with awareness and respect.
I recommend doing some research on the country before hand!
-
No, not at all, you don’t even have to want to! We can all take a lesson or two should we decide we want to, I recommend it but no previous experience required and everything is optional!
-
No this retreat is designed for everyone to have their own private room with a double bed so you can retreat to your own privacy. Should you want to share your bed with a friend/partner that’s up to you!
-
I haven’t found them worse in Sri Lanka than anywhere else but this is the tropics, so you’ll definitely meet some mosquitos. We’ll provide mosquito nets and repellent, but we recommend also bringing your own natural spray if you have one you like Citronella. Light, long-sleeved clothing in the evenings also helps!
-
There are no mandatory vaccinations for Sri Lanka, but it’s always a good idea to check with your GP or a travel clinic before travelling, as recommendations can vary. Commonly suggested vaccinations for Sri Lanka include Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Tetanus, but please follow professional medical advice to decide what’s right for you.
-
Yes of course! Many come to my retreats solo. It’s a space of community and connection, you’ll leave with new friendships. I am a big fan of solo adventures and have travelled alone many times, including around Sri Lanka. Happy to chat about this with you!
-
When we head down to the south coast, I really want us to branch out and experience the amazing local flavours. I’d suggest budgeting £40 - £50 per day for this — around £200 in total should be more than enough!
-
Yes, all participants are responsible for obtaining their own travel and health insurance for the retreat.
